Position Description
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for soliciting business for Merchant Solutions Pte. Ltd by conducting cold calls, following-up on Standard Chartered leads, and by developing networking partnerships while achieving a specific number of new accounts, locations in order to maintain a satisfactory YTD total revenue figure, POS revenue and other recurring revenues.
Position directly drives and impacts revenue targets for the Merchant Solutions business.
Responsibilities:

Solicits business for Merchant Solutions by conducting cold calls, following-up on Standard Chartered Bank leads, and by developing networking partnerships.
·
Cross sells other products and services accordingly.
·
Prepares and conducts formal sales presentations by providing an analysis of customer’s current processing needs.
·
Advises merchant prospects of new technology and product offerings by consulting on potential operational efficiencies.
·
Assures the profitable pricing of merchant relationships on upfront and recurring revenue by consulting with District Sales Manager.
·
Receives and submits all necessary information and application paperwork of new accounts.
Provides clients with implementation timelines.
·
Communicates with internal employee contacts in credit and operations areas in order to ensure the timely set-up of new accounts.
·
Refers merchant issues to appropriate department as they arise.
·
Coordinates and ensures effective merchant implementation and training through tools provided.
·
Maintains accurate lead reporting by updating sales database daily.
·
Communicates with District Sales Manager on all escalated issues or concerns.
Measures of Success:
Must achieve specified number of accounts, locations and recurring volumes per month.
Needs to maintain satisfactory YTD total revenue figure
